It comprises of 3 floors which will include PCT services, ad! ministration and Care UK services being delivered side by side. Care UK will operate a new GP surgery and a walk-in centre that will have extended opening hours, 08.00 – 21.00, 365 days per year, providing much improved access to the people of Rotherham. Maintain NMC registration and professional development in line with the expectations of the role. Participate fully in annual appraisal. Work at all times within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with current quality initiatives within the area of work. Any other duties that may be required from time to time. Qualifications Desirable Qualifications : • Independent Nurse Prescriber • Teaching / Mentoring experience and /or qualification Essential Qualifications : • Registered General Nurse (Currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council) • Recognised NP qualification at minimum of degree level or equivalent Skills/Experience Essential Experience : • Minimum of 5 years post registration experience • Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and on-going competence in all aspects of the NP role • Experience in management long term conditions e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes, CHD • Evidence of working autonomously and as part of a team • Proven ability to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of their own clinical practice • Previous experience of managing and developing a nursing team
