Electronics Design Engineer - Power Supply / SMPS - Essex

Description : Electronics Design Engineer - Power Supply / SMPS - Essex Working in a team of 10 people in the UK R&D centre of a Global Electronics Company your role will be the design and development of new power electronics products You must be a qualified to at least HNC level (ideally Degree) with a minimum of 2 years experience in switch mode power supply design, however, experience of the following would be an advantage:- Analogue Design, Digital Design, Control Circuit Design, PCB layout techniques, component selection, thermal management and MTBF We are looking for a self-motivating person with an ability to schedule their own workload, who is capable of providing technical control of own development projects. Need to have conceptual design experience and an ability to meet high volume production cost targets. Should be commercially aware, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Salary dependent on experience but would be competitive. Membership of Bupa and Stake holder pension available
