GENERAL FUNCTION: Completes and leads assignments related to centralized recon process improvements. Operates as a team member on larger initiatives but also works independently on smaller projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manages projects designed to improve centralized recon with management assistance and supervision when required: (a) Develops project plans and documentation; (b) Coordinates overall project execution and provides project updates; (c) Completes assigned project tasks within agreed upon timeframes; (d) Identifies issues and roadblocks in a timely manner and works through those issues to reach an acceptable outcome; (e) Coordinates efforts with other departments impacted by the project. * Identifies areas of process improvement to increase departmental efficiencies. Proposes and implements best practices. * Leads special projects as assigned by Manager. * Leads the development of training manuals and conduct reconciliation training for key business areas. * Assume a leadership role in converting acquired companies or system upgrades. Coordinates information gathering and distribution, and testing. * Maintains accurate records and establishes strong working relationships with all business lines and accounting groups. * Leads the development and updates of training manuals and conduct reconciliation training for key business areas. * Establishes, fosters and maintains working relationships with peers and Senior Management within the Bancorp, Lines of Businesses, Affiliates and Divisions.
