Major Responsibilities Serves as a strategic HR business partner closely partnering with business leadership to align and provide HR service, expertise, insight and solutions to advance the client group’s and ESPN’s mission, values, and business objectives Manages and assists with the day-to-day delivery of HR services to client groups and is a known and available resource to employees at all levels Partners with HR Centers of Excellence and client groups to effectively design, implement, communicate, manage and enhance HR programs and initiatives Provides HR project leadership on significant business events within assigned client groups such as department reorganization. Partners with management on organizational design, talent planning, employee training and development, diversity initiatives and strategy, employee relations and individual coaching and mediating Drives performance management actions within client groups, including ensuring working familiarity with performance management tools, programs and guidelines Liaison between the HR department and client group to ensure consistency in policy interpretation and application Specific Competencies 8 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience with 6 or more years in a business partner/general |
