This position is based in our Bay Ridge Branch.Basic Function: Sell and promote the Bank’s products, alternative investments, and services. Provide a wide range of banking services to individual customers such as personal financial counseling and customer service and maintain $200,000 in semi-annual portfolio revenue. (In Sales Centers duties may occasionally include handling cash transactions when needed). Responsibilities: -Maintain portfolio growth through developing 20-30 personal contacts, 20-30 CCM profile updates, 3 referral partner discussion, and non-portfolio sales calls. -Efficiently service and profile customers to satisfy all four needs (transaction, borrowing, savings & protection) and identify sales opportunities consistently within a twelve-month period. -Cross-sell a variety of personal banking services to present and potential customers. -Provide assistance and customer service on assigned accounts, including opening new accounts, approving checks, and answering questions concerning accounts. -Support branch in achieving its sales and customer retention goals; and participate in weekly sales meetings with Branch Manager and take the lead in branch sales initiatives when needed. -Perform other duties as assigned by management. -Sales Center responsibility – When needed, process teller transactions with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining a professional manner to build customer confidence and trust. Basic Qualifications: -Associate’s Degree or in lieu of degree, two (2) to three (3) years relevant sales experience. -Minimum four (4) years sales/financial services experience. -Series 6,63 and Life, Accident and Health licenses. -Strong telemarketing/sales ability. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Proficient personal computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and retail branch |
