Our client is one of the UK's leading and largest food distribution companies. With over 25 locations strategically placed throughout the UK they offer a localised service that covers fresh, frozen and chilled foods amongst their growing portfolio of services. Due to continued growth and indeed internal movement they now have an exciting opening for a National Account Manager to cover the UK.

As a National Account Manager you will focus on a large portfolio of key accounts. This high level role requires the use of strategic account management principles and will involve extensive contract management, contract renewal, productivity targets and above all the management of customer expectations. It is also anticipated that the successful individual will identify and qualify new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3-4 years national sales experience from within the food service, wholesales or FMCG sectors. You will be a natural communicator with a can do attitude, high personal expectations and proven abilities in both sales and national account management. Your communication and presentation skills will be first class and you will be self sufficient and able to work in the field with limited supervision.

The successful candidate can expect a base salary of 30-40k with an uncapped OTE of 40-55k plus an additional benefits package that will include a quality car.
