Hult International Business School - London campus

Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 pa

Hult International Business School seeks a Deputy Registrar to take responsibility for the administration of Tier 4 of the Points Based Immigration System (PBS) and the School's compliance with UKBA regulations in the context of UK accreditation. This is a new role, challenging and varied in its scope.

The post holder will be based in the Academic Registry, working closely with staff from all other departments to develop and implement a coherent immigration strategy. Applicants must possess a relevant honours degree or equivalent, and excellent oral, written, IT, and organizational skills. Two years' minimum work experience within a similar area is desirable, and preference will be given to candidates trained as Level 1 Immigration advisers (Tier 4). Applicants must be accurate and efficient, with the ability to adapt to changing UK legislation and work to deadlines in a generally busy office environment. The post holder will liaise with the Academic Deans and will provide advice and training to other members of the school's staff, as well as addressing student inquiries.

Skills & Experience

Must be from EU to comply with the legislation
2 years experience within immigration/academic environment
Be trained as Level 1 immigration adviser ( preferable) or have good understanding of Tier 4 Points Based immigration system
Relevant honours degree or equivalent as the person would provide backup to the Registrar (undergraduate and postgraduate) during busy periods, including holiday and sickness cover -li sty
