One of the UK's largest and most successful vocational training providers is looking for a Regional Director to cover the South West.

This exciting and rewarding post will involve managing and developing the NVQ and Skills Division of the company across the South West. You will form part of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly into the Operations Director and will be responsible for leading and directing a team of Regional Managers as well as directly managing a business Centre in the Bristol Region.

Specific Duties will include:

- Responsibility for increasing and leading business development activity within your specified region
- Leading agreed developmental areas to create policy within particular funding streams.
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the Company, taking on specific policy formulation/tasks.
- Responsibility for improving financial and qualitative performance within the South West
- Undertake senior management tasks including performance management, budgetary approval and disciplinaries/ grievances etc..
- Working as part of Senior Management team and attending specified management meetings.
- Line management for Regional and Centre Managers within region.
- Development and implementation of performance improvement plans
- Creating and achievement of agreed budgets for all Centres within region.

The ideal applicant will be target driven with excellent time management. You will require strong communication skills and the ability to positively influence situations and other people. It is essential that you have experience in a recent leadership role including line management to a senior level within the Education Sector, ideally within a training provider. You will need a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets and deadlines as well as the ability to build and motivate teams. Experience of the NVQ Assessment Industry is essential.
