| ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER POSITION IN CLYDEBANK WITH A STARTING SALARY OF AROUND 19,000 THE COMPANY * Currently trading out of 90+ stores * Company turnover of 400million+ annually * Expansion of a further 60 stores in the next 5 years * Family run company with 70% still owned by the founders * A company that gives you autonomy to work how you want to THE ROLE OF THE ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER: * Helping to manage a 20,000sq ft store, with a total staff of around 60 to 80 staff. * You will be responsible for directing sales, and delivering profits * Very hands on role where you will be expected to get involved heavily on the shop floor * To motivate and instill passion within the staff for the brand and company * You will have total control in terms of how you merchandise products and manage staff THE CANDIDATE FOR THE ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER: * Retail management experience in a volume retailer * Excellent people management skills * Providing strong customer service * Proven track record in driving sales with clear examples on how you do this * Strong passion for retail * whilst being hands on with a commercial awareness * NO PRODUCT EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY - STRONG RETAIL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY THE PACKAGE FOR THE ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER * Salary banding - 19,000 * Twice a year bonus * Fantastic discount on in store products * Being part of a team that values you as an employee not as a number on the payroll.
