The hiring company is a leading global manufacturer of lifts and escalators. They provide products and services for architects and contractors, developers and homeowners.

This global organisation is currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant to join the New Equipment team in London.

The New Equipment division are involved at the early stages of new developments, providing technical help and advice to customer on Lifts and Escalators. This department is responsible for providing quotations, processing orders and the installation of the equipment.

You will be an experienced Sales professional. Ideally you will have experience / knowledge of the construction industry, as you will be dealing with industry experts. Training will be provided for the right person.

As a New Equipment Sales Consultant you will be required to deliver excellent results and customer care. This role focuses on dealing with enquiries for new buildings, and is highly pro-active and focused at spending time with customers and developing good business relationships. You will be accountable for building professional working relationships with the existing customer base as well as potential new clients. You will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with group products and services to ensure appropriate sales are made and customer queries are answered accurately.

As a key player in a successful team you must have good communication and presentation skills and be highly organised. Teamwork and being target driven are essential qualities as well as all-round knowledge of the Company's products. Emphasis is on a high level of pro-active customer visits. The area to be covered is West London (WD, HA, UB, W, WC1, WC2) and is a key sales area within the London Team.

The Basic Salary offered for the position will be 28-32K + bonus + benefits.
