Our client is looking for an excellent IT Support Engineer with either 1st or 2nd line experience to join their team at Tower Hill, Central London.

IT Support Engineer - role:

- Taking the initial customer call
- Taking all relevant information in a confident, calm and professional manner
- Inputting appropriate details into the Fault System
- Maintaining regular contact with the customer, providing first rate updates
- Liaising with other internal and external stakeholders in an exemplary manner
- General desk top and server support
- Being involved in a number of non Service Desk administration tasks and projects

IT Support Engineer candidate - will have proven experience in some or any number of the following disciplines:

- Excellent customer facing skills and experience both over the telephone and face to face
- Attention to detail

An understanding, knowledge and competence in the IT/Telecoms arena, including, but not limited to :
- Analogue and digital voice and data lines
- Mobile telephony
- PBX's (Mitel, Cisco and Avaya an advantage)
- Routers and switches

The IT Support Engineer role would be based Monday to Friday, days only, although some out of hours work will be inevitable on occasions

The successful IT Support Engineer candidate will receive a Competitive Salary based upon experience.
