Our client is currently looking for an individual who works in the Business Development field and has some knowledge or understanding of the offshore oil and gas sector OR an individual who has come from an engineering background but would like a fresh challenge / career change into Business Development. Business Development Manager ( Offshore Industry ) - Role: - To develop the business from current and new customers in order to meet offshore sales targets, whilst maintaining our client's reputation as a leading software house with industry knowledge - Identifying the appropriate customer needs and arranging meetings that involve the most appropriate industry specialists to demonstrate the Companies capabilities - Reporting to company at both the opportunity stages and product requirements stage. - Maintaining key internal relationships, with The Sales Manager and members of the Sales team - Manage channel strategy for Offshore sector - Attend Industry Events - Generating and qualifying leads into named accounts, combined with day to day responsibility of following up and managing the relationship for all current prospects - Requirement for Travel: Edinburgh Office at least 4 times a year, also London and Houston, Texas Business Development Manager ( Offshore Industry ) - Knowledge and Experience:
