My Client, a global eCommerce retail success story, requires an IT Development Manager (C#,.NET or Java) for their UK headquarters in Hertfordshire. Working as part of the Dotcom Engineering team, the successful IT Development Manager will manage a team of project leaders, Developers (c#, .NET, JAVA) and testers, as well as supporting IT solution architects in order to deliver best ground breaking technical solutions. You will provide leadership to your team in the resolving of complex technical issues.
As a Development Manager will have had a purposeful, proven career path to date, with a background in Architecture, Application Development (C#, .net and Java), Project Management, Design and ERP systems, coupled with proven C#, .NET or Java programming expertise. Ideally you'll possess experience/exposure to Retail eCommerce (ATG) environment. Exceptional Database knowledge (Oracle/SQL) and experience is also essential.
Essential requirements include minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent in a business or computing discipline, with logical, problem-solving mind that can think outside the box. As a Development Manager (C#, .net and Java), you will be a leader that can influence, identify and implement technical retail solutions and domain roadmaps. You will work alongside IT Directors, Programme Managers and Business teams to ensure cost efficiency of IT within the group.
