Position: Personnel & Training Executive
Salary: up to 35k, company car, fuel card, discretionary bonus, company pension and health care.
Location: 2 x positions available covering South of England. Based at Head Office in Milton Keynes with a national remit.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, some weekend work, late nights and early mornings will be occasional however will be dictated by ongoing employee matters within the business.

Engineering Maintenance Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of the UK's largest retailer. Based in Milton Keynes and employing over 1000 employees, they provide maintenance services to retail stores.

ROLE:
Reporting to the Personnel Manager, EMS is looking to recruit two great Personnel & Training Executives to embed their people plan. You will coach and train people managers and provide expert employee relations advice to help solve people problems at work. You will also be responsible for championing change, and deliver training a responsive quality service on all people matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Being a great personnel operator.
b) Supporting resourcing activities, consistently embedding what good likes for resourcing.
c) Training, influencing and coaching managers to build capability to consistently deliver their people policies.
d) Being a great business partner.
e) Supporting their Joint Working Party and maintaining a great relationship with their union partners.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
a) Previous personnel operator experience in a fast paced environment.
b) Experience of giving great ER advice
c) Graduate calibre - minimum 2:1 required
d) Coaching people manager
e) Microsoft office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint to intermediate standard
f) Comfortable working with numbers and manipulating management information
g) Full clean driving licence
