Purpose of the job

• Design and develop software products, working on the design and applications levels on embedded and application software systems. Integrating the software environment using appropriate tools
• Specification, design, review, implementation, design of test methods, liaison with project manager & technical lead

Responsibilities & Tasks
• Embedded firmware and application development
• Customer demo software development

Qualifications and experience

Essential Skills
• Embedded Linux (gcc, Makefile, Autotools, cross-compilation, Buildroot or equivalent, kernel configuration, Flash filesystems, NFS, etc.);
• Linux application development;
• C/C++;
• Completion of fully verified software component to schedule;
• Development of expert skills and technical research ability;
• Ability to create technical specifications;
• Strong software analysis and design skills

Desired Skills
• Video and Audio streaming (mplayer, vlc, or similar);
• TCP/IP and VoIP ;
• UI design (GTK, Qt or similar);
• Linux Device drivers;
• DAB
