ROLE: The Property Department’s engineering team lead the design and delivery of engineering equipment required by Tesco and provide technical support (specifically HVAC, Fridge, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Fire, Petrol, and Security). During your time on the programme, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety projects ranging from developing a process supporting whole life costing of new and old equipment. Evaluate and implement improved air sealing and energy saving within stores. Take part in a design project with a Tesco contractor to develop a CO2 refrigeration system, to measuring the impact of energy saving projects. ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: a) At least a 2:1 degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. b) A passion and drive for working in a Property and Retail environment. c) The ability to work well as a team with a range of professionals. d) The character to enjoy a fast-paced life.
