It’s about understanding and anticipating customer requirements, analysing their business and how stores meet those needs and researching sites to develop new stores. ROLE: In the Analysis & Development team you could be analysing data and influencing company decisions at the highest levels. Analysing store performance and creating models and systems, you will help Site Research to decide where to build stores, or how to invest in their expansion. In the Development team you will be responsible for building and maintaining the core systems and data used by the Site Research teams. The systems enable the teams to better understand stores and their customers ensuring the right investment advice is given to the business. In short, you will use your skills to influence real world business situations. The challenge is to use your judgement and knowledge to inform the way their business progresses. ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: a) At least a 2:1 degree in a highly numerate/analytical discipline eg Maths, Operational Research, Economics or Statistics. b) Strong numerical and analytical skills. c) The ability to communicate complex information. d) Confidence in your own decisions. e) A creative and innovative approach. f) A full driving licence.
