| Due to the retirement of our clients current Headteacher we wish to recruit a suitably experienced teacher with the vision and enthusiasm necessary to build upon the qualities of our client which achieved an "outstanding" H.M.I. (Estyn) Report in June 2008. The client now requires a candidate with vision and leadership skills to manage a quality learning environment for its pupils and to fully develop the potential of all staff. The client is a small independent, residential school which caters for students aged 11 - 16 years with significant emotional and behavioural difficulties plus associated learning problems. The client: * Is a successful and well managed school with hard working and caring staff * Has active committed and supportive staff * Has standards of teaching and learning which are outstanding * Has a rich diverse curriculum with a wide variety of Outdoor Activities Our client is looking for a candidate who: * Has excellent leadership and management skills * Will be an inspirational practitioner, be proactive and have excellent interpersonal skills * Will be up-to-date with current Practices and strategic development within education * Is committed to all aspects of students' development * Is approachable and has the ability to communicate effectively with students and adults * Is able to organise themselves and others, solve problems and have the ability to enthuse others, inspiring pupils and staff alike Successful candidates for all posts working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to checks by the Criminal Records Bureau
