| A leading International engineering company in the Oil & Gas sector are looking for a Sales Engineer to develop UK/ Global sales for Instrumentation & Calibration/Chemical Injection equipment/services. To develop existing and generate new business within the UK and global market place; promoting, presenting and arranging sales, rental and hire orders for Instrumentation & Calibration and Chemical injection equipment and services.
* Working closely with the Operations Managers within each geographical location (Scotland, England, Nigeria and Angola).
* Position based in Aberdeen but travel within the UK and international will be required. * Driving licence required due to extensive travel. * Due to nature of position, regular client entertaining both within and out with working hours will be necessary, therefore flexibility required. Focused towards creating opportunities, developing enquires and managing tender bids. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond effectively to customer's requests for sales enquires, technical and commercial information, providing technical presentations, quotation and demonstrations as required. - Interfacing with customers, providing a clear interpretation of their requirements from the enquiry onset - Successfully plan and prepare for sales calls by means of effective information, customer profiling and action plans. - Production of clear and concise quotations, including collation of all relevant supporting documentation (e.g., data sheets, drawings, photographs, user instructions, etc) - Follow up sales enquires, gathering customer feedback and providing any further information to customer. - Plan objectives in line with Company priorities, taking into account strategic account management and marketing activities. - Active involvement in all marketing activities, including exhibitions, advertising, edititorial and press releases as required. -Assist operations department with project scheduling as required. - Undertake client visits within UK and internationally to promote range of products, ensuring clear business plan is in place prior to all visits, detailing objectives, client, duration of trip. Provide I&C Operations Manager - Scotland with business report following trip, providing update on the outcomes from the client visits. Follow up with client in order to maximise opportunities for sales. - Be a leading contributor to the development of business strategy and introduction of new products/services. EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE
* Good understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry.
* Previous experience in sales role. * Understanding of instrumentation & calibration and chemical injection pumping. 40k-50k (flexible)+ Vauxhall Vectra.
