Software / Hardware Electronic Design Engineer

Description : We are looking for a Software/Hardware/Electronics Design Engineer to be involved in the development of industrial instrumentation products and common electronic platforms. The role will involve electronic hardware and embedded software design work from first concept through to product manufacturing. You will design, development and testing of electronic hardware and embedded software for instrumentation products You will record design conformance and ensure the product and documents meet internal and external standards and specifications You will work to demanding technical performance, cost and time targets You will be happy working with other design engineers together with cross functional members of new product introduction teams You will have a good degree in Electronic Engineering or other relevant technical discipline you will be a high calibre candidate who has at least two years of experience in electronic hardware / embedded software design, ideally in the development of industrial products. You will have experience of digital electronic hardware design - ideally PROFIBUS and MODBUS You will have experience of embedded programming in C and/or C++
