The main aspects of the role include, providing Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration support, (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX) Systems Administration support and Windows Systems Administration support. You will also be required to assist in the day-to-day management of the Trust?s back-up systems. This includes storing critical data off site and managing restoration procedures.

In addition to the above you will need to provide technical support for all web-based systems and to ensure that systems and databases are available to users at all times, and that key usage indicators, such as disk space, processor utilization and memory use are all within acceptable guidelines.

It is essential you have MS SQL, Linux, and NHS and DBA experience.
