I am currently working for a large heavy industry tool and services supplier from the UK; the company currently have set in to motion a large expansion plan for the Caspian region, therefore require professionals of a relevant skill set to facilitate this growth.

The Company

The company have been in operation for nearly 40 years and employ around 9,000 staff worldwide. The group are set up into three divisions: oil and gas, minerals and power and industry. This opportunity will be with the oil and gas division; the division provides superior solutions to Oil & Gas Companies in upstream, production, transportation, refining and related industries. Upstream products include well service & stimulation pressure pumping and flow control products, downstream products including centrifugal pumps and spare parts for refining and petrochemical industries.

The Role

You will be working closely with one of the groups senior development directors for the region. A strong part of the companyxFFFD;s expansion plan will be to establish them onto Kazakh markets then expand into the other CIS and Caspian regions. These areas will be your responsibility, part of that will include winning new business in the region and maintaining existing relationships with current clients. There will be a necessity to form a new sales department in Baku which can be used as a hub for the region, you will be charged with heading this new initiative up.

The Requirements: What They Look For?

Expat (Preferably)
Mechanical Engineer or Equivalent time-based experience in senior roles within manufacture and repair facilities.
At Least 3 Years as a Sales Engineer
Upstream Drilling market experience, knowledge of premium threading, OCTG Goods, Pressure Control Equipment.
Well Versed in Preparing Techno commercial quotations.
Speakers of Azeri / Russian or Kazakh languages will be preferable (Not Essential).
Good presentation and inter personal skills.
Vast Experience in the Caspian / FSU / CIS Region.
Have good contacts and evidence of securing business for the region.
Should have worked in a similar company (Oil and Gas upstream manufacture & Repair).
Degree Qualified.
15+ Years Experience.
