They have implemented many new initiatives including a more competitive rental pricing structure, development of other areas in the business, Major cost restructuring/reductions and integrating 2 new businesses into the normal fascia. As a consequence of this change the business has culturally changed from being exceptionally structured where business performance was constrained, to having a real entrepreneurial flavour. Decisions are taken quickly and can be changed just as quickly. There is a real can do attitude in the business and an MD who has absolute belief in what the business can achieve. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a District Manager to drive and maximise the sales revenues of a district of 16 stores in the South Wales, Gloucester and Worcestershire. The main purpose of this role is to ensure stores deliver excellent customer service, high operational standards which enhance and support revenues, whilst supporting their management teams to deliver best practice and achieve sales targets. Reporting to the Regional Director a key responsibility of this position is to develop store teams, ensuring high standards of customer service and product knowledge, as well as promoting a sales environment to grow revenue opportunities within their stores. The successful candidate will have a proven retail management background with multi-site experience and the ability to demonstrate commercial acumen. A passion for customer service and an obsession with sales are both essential attributes. The successful candidate will have the leadership skills to transform their business into one which delivers fantastic sales through great service.
