My client is an internationally recognised market leader in the manufacture of optical frames and sunglasses. They have a huge European presence and are currently looking to develop further accounts within the UK.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
This opportunity will predominantly be focused on developing new business and growing the UK retail market share. The opportunity will also encompass account management of accounts with leading retail and optician groups, regional groups and independent opticians within the UK marketplace either directly or through agents.

Working with the support of a central office you will be actively involved in developing the strategy and targeting strategically the retail optical market.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have had experience working for similar optical Manufacturing companies for example: Oakley, bolle, Police, Ray-Ban, Luxoticca or similar eyewear companies. You will also be looking to progress within the organisation and further your career with the Company.

a minimum of 5 years within sales in the eyewear, glasses, sunglasses, opticians optics sector. You must have sold into the optics distribution channel and retailers for example supermarkets and large department stores.
you must be commercially astute with a strong fighting spirit and entrepreneurial flare.
