We have an immediate requirement for an Embedded Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be working within a small R&D team based in offices across the South UK.

You will be focusing on H264 encode development, so real VIDEO experience is required.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

The skills required are:

• Excellent current 'C' and ‘C++’ programming
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience developing on embedded systems
• Experience of developing in assembler for 32bit processors
• Experience of developing under Linux.
• Experience in the handheld portable device market
• A background in developing Video CODECs, and/or algorithms for Video capture hardware.

Also of interest:
• A background in audio CODECs and/or algorithms for Audio processing.
• A background in developing multimedia algorithms and applications
• Experience of implementing parallel processing algorithms.
