You will be responsible for:

Conceptual design & engineering calculation of hydraulic systems used in heavy mechanical plant

Specifying components, steel & flexible piping systems and the production of all associated documentation

Motivation, support & guidance for associated design team personnel

Technical support for site operations

You will have:

A successful track record in the design of systems using proprietary hydraulic components for mobile, agricultural, quarrying, tunnelling machinery, marine or drilling plant.

A degree or HND in Engineering in a relevant discipline

Sound experience of project management in an OEM or engineering consultancy

2D and 3D CAD software experience (preferably SolidWorks & AutoCAD)

It would be of benefit if you have Chartered status - although we are able to offer support to individuals through the application process via an IMechE accredited MPDS.
