| Programme Office Manager required to run and manage a busy and demanding programme office for one of the highest profile companies in the UK. Based in London paying upto 53k + benefits. This role would suit someone who has been a PMO Manager, Programme Office Manager, Project Office Manager, Portfolio / Programme manager. This will not suit a Project Manager who wants to progress in to a Programme Office Manager role.
The Programme Office manager will have overall responsibility for running and managing the Programme Office. You will be a key member of the leadership team and will oversee all programme planning and will measure and report on the programme's performance. A background in fundraising would be a distinct advantage for this role and it is a 2 years fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will be diplomatic, pragmatic, influencing and able to pull teams together to achieve common goals. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required, in order to build relationships both within the Programme Office and stakeholders around the business. A strong technical understanding of IT is a pre-requisite.
You will have considerable working knowledge, of Prince2, OGC, MSP, or other certified project management methodologies, preferably within a variety of organisations, ensuring an appreciation of different environments and the need for process and governance. Exposure to Agile project management delivery methods such as DSDM, RUP and SCRUM along with quality standards will be required.
