| A leading global healthcare organisation is currently recruiting for a Hospital Representative to cover the South West and South Wales. Previous Pharmaceutical / Hospital experience is required. Due to an internal restructure my client is currently looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical / Healthcare Field Sales, Account Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Sales Executive to cover this area on a contract basis.
Main purpose of the Hospital Representative:
- Selling, promoting and providing information about the company's renal product, for the treatment of CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease). To achieve product formulary and funding status in hospitals and PCOs. - To develop local KOLs for the product within secondary care who proactively endorse the product. - Customers primarily consist of Nephrology Consultants, Renal Nurse Specialists, Pharmacists and Specialist Registrars as well as PCO customers. - The area primarily covers hospitals in South West and West England with some travel to other areas of the UK also required. Main Responsibilities of the Hospital Representative:
- Meeting (or exceeding) sales and activity targets - Undertaking key account management and business planning. - Organising own time effectively to maximise customer contact. - Arranging meetings as well as 1:1 customer contact in order to educate customers and promote the product - Identifying and developing business opportunities. - Working effectively to manage own territory, as well as working with colleagues including other Hospital Specialists and Healthcare Development Managers covering the region. - Interpreting data and carrying out administrative work accurately and on time - including call reporting etc. - Attending regional meetings and sales conferences as required. Skills/Experience Requirements
- Previous pharmaceutical / hospital sales experience - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent planning and organisational skills. - Tenacious and resilient. - Self discipline and self motivation. - Good understanding of the wider NHS. - Ability to interpret data. - Able to provide evidence of individual achievement in line with core competencies of a medical representative. - Ambitious and keen to develop a career in a successful organisation. Education Requirements:
- A life science degree (or equivalent) is desirable The position of Hospital Representative is a field based role, covering the South West. It is therefor essential that successful applicants live on patch.
