Our client is the leading provider of home care management software in the UK. The company manufactures and develops their specialist software, which is the leading brand in the UK and Australia. The company also develops products for the social housing and electronic call monitoring markets.

Their continuing success means that they are looking to recruit a Field Sales Executive for the release of their best of breed software solution.

Position: Field Sales Executive
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk near Cambridge.
Salary: Base salary of 30,000 per annum, 45k OTE
Benefits: Company car incl. maintenance and fuel, Laptop, mobile phone, 33 days paid holiday per year, contributory pension scheme.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Meeting potential clients across the UK and the successful candidate must be prepared to drive 500-1000 miles each week and stay in hotels when the need arises.
b) Through business development calls prospect and canvass new potential users for the software.
c) Organising own appointments to demonstrate the software to potential customers.
d) Provide consultancy and trouble shooting to existing customers.
e) Acquire a substantial operational understanding of the products and the marketplace in which they are to be used.
f) Add to the customer service base of the business by taking ownership and responsibility for customer problems and working with other members of the business in solving them.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
a) Experience of closing new business.
b) B2B sales experience.
c) Proven customer-facing skills.
d) Good computer systems literacy and have experience of working with application software.
e) Proven problem-solving skills.
f) Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver to high quality thresholds.
g) A pro- active self starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
