| We are currently looking for a HPC registered Radiographer/ Mammographer to work for a leading private healthcare provider based in Kent. About the hospital A modern, well-equipped hospital, it offers a wide range of medical services and treatments. We are a major provider of independent healthcare in the area. Our service provision is varied, covering everything from outpatients and minor procedures through to the most complex of surgeries and we are investing significantly in our infrastructure. Services offered here include dental imaging, ultrasound, mammography, X-ray and DEXA. About the role We're now looking for the best radiography professionals to join us in making our imaging unit and our mobile services true centres of excellence. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in general radiography, digital screening and mobile radiography. You'll deliver high quality diagnostic imaging, through performing a range of radiographic procedures in our department. Supervising non-HPC registered staff on a day-to-day basis, you will have the opportunity to mentor more junior team members. We will expect you to participate in our On Call rota. You must be an experienced, registered practitioner, with a BSc, or equivalent, in a relevant subject. A UK recognised qualification in diagnostic radiography is required, and you must also hold current HPC registration. Experience in mammography, Cath lab, CT and/or interventional procedures (including cardiac) would be desirable, although training will be provided as appropriate. An excellent communicator, with good IT skills, you must be enthusiastic about gaining a wider, more holistic, understanding of patient care.
