| An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to Provide Business Partnering to specific areas of this large commercial organisation based in Dorset. Working with senior business stakeholders and executive teams, the ideal candidate will be a solid generalist within a highly commercial and fast paced environment, and have extensive experience in driving and managing change to improve business performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Contribute to the development of the Group people plan through identification of business needs and supporting the design of people processes, development and reward and recognition solutions to meet the Groups requirements * Facilitate the development of a functional 3 year people plan that embeds the Group people practices and activities and which is tailored to the functional needs * Facilitate regular succession planning and talent management review with functional leaders * Provide relevant people metric information to Directors and Senior Management to enable decision making and action * Influence the business to adopt the practice of line manager as a people manager * Coach Senior Team to develop leadership capability, identify future talent, engage their teams and manage change effectively * Coach and develop Managers to increase their effectiveness in managing individuals and team performance * Support delivery of organisational change initiatives e.g.implementation of new structures, ways of working, changes to reward and benefit policies and skills development * Support recruitment, selection and induction by providing monitoring progress, compliance and effectiveness, advising on improvements to practices where necessary * Ensure compliance with relevant policies and employment legislation * Provide guidance in the management of employee relations issues (disciplinary, grievance, appeals performance management and redundancy situations) * Deliver skills training sessions as required to deliver the functional people plan activities e.g. Observer Training, Interviewing skills) EXPERIENCE: * CIPD qualified or equivalent * Extensive generalist HR experience within a highly commercial and fast paced environment * Regular exposure to and influencing senior business stakeholders including executive teams * Proven track record of working with business leaders to drive and manage change to improve business performance * Proven ER experience and knowledge including mediation, disciplinary, grievance, maternity and advising * Performance management approaches * Delivery of learning and development solutions including classroom training delivery SKILLS: * Commercial acumen * Change management * Leadership * Coaching, facilitation, communication and influencing skills * Comfortable in dealing with conflict and ambiguity * Delivering results with and through others * Collaboration and relationship building
