Our client is a UK based professional lighting solutions provider. It has grown rapidly over the last few years and has business units worldwide. Their belief is that continued success comes from investment in products and people. They are looking to recruit an outstanding Head of Quality to lead the next phase of quality and process improvements.

Your brief will be to build on the company’s strategy for improved quality in all aspects of the business assisting in the continued drive for growth by becoming the industry’s supplier of choice with quality, delivery performance and products, recognised as the best in the industry. You will be expected to act as the champion of quality within all activities in the business, from product specifying and design, through sales order processing, procurement, production and shipment and to progressively move towards zero customer complaints and zero defects.
You will manage the company’s internal auditing systems, the factory surveillance auditing function and develop supplier quality performance improvement. A key task will be to ensure all accreditations are maintained.

This role will also interface with customers and their auditors regarding Quality and Environmental issues. You will have a proven track record of managing a quality department in a manufacturing/engineering environment producing high variety, mid volume, electrical products and you will hold suitable qualifications in engineering & quality.
