| A leading Provider of Products, Services and complete lifecycle power solutions for the marine / offshore market is recruiting for a Senior Account Manager - Aberdeen. Basic Salary 45-52K + bonus, car/car allowance, benefits. As Senior Account Manager you will be managing a small sales team in the Scottish Area.
The position of Senior Account Manager will suit a professional sales person with good communication skills with a technical background. Experience in selling to the offshore industry is desirable. Experience of engine, (diesel/gas) propulsion or electrical and automation products in the marine environment are an advantage. Experience of managing and mentoring a small sales team would be an advantage. Requirements Education:
HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent Apprenticeship or Equivalent Accountabilities:
- Order Intake, sales, sold margin and receivables in the assigned services and country/countries through business development of his/her specified service - Receivables of own specified customers - Response time to customer inquiries of own specified customers - Customer satisfaction & loyalty Main responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager:
Includes a mixture of the following responsibilities depending on the designated service: - Create business development plan for all services in Scotland and plan actions in co-operation with Account Manager. Support the designated country in budget process. - Identify sales opportunities for his/her services - Structured knowledge transfer to Account Manager - Joint customer visits and technical and commercial negotiations with customers with Account Managers - Coordinate needed sales support for all Service - Responsibility of the technical and commercial compliance of the contracts signed, together with the General Manager, Service Sales - Conduct contract review in cooperation with Contract Management organisation - Maintain and update customer database, competitor files and industry trends - Develop & implement account plans for retaining, expanding and developing business of dedicated customers - Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers - Identify new prospects - Ensure customer inquiries/orders/complaints are handled promptly and in a satisfactory way - Collect and communicate market intelligence/competitor activities - Carry out customer satisfaction surveys - Maintain and update customer information - Manage professional relationship with the support organisations - To comply with the company's Quality, Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies. - In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties within their capabilities which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity, change the general character or level of responsibili |
