The PA engineer will be responsible for co-ordination, management, control and timely completion of all quality tasks during the design, development, manufacture, test and delivery of electronic and antenna products as applicable.
Responsibilities including: -

Support to design engineers ensuring quality of design right first time, including design phase reviews and design to manufacture capabilities.

Manage on behalf of the product team leader the support functions for parts, materials, processes, configuration and reliability.

Ensuring that all the necessary design review, manufacture, tests and delivery reviews are managed where quality of output is essential.

Liaison and support to suppliers, sub-contractors and customers as appropriate during product lifecycle.

Management of the resource budget and actuals if managing a product lifecycle.

Ensuring that the company quality system is followed when applying operational quality standards.

Review and approve project and product documentation including specs, procedures and drawings.

Carry out process audits if required.

Produce quality metrics.

The management of non-conformances including chairing of non-conformance review boards.

Produce weekly and monthly reports for relevant products.

Carrying out inspections of hardware on behalf of the customer at specific stages of manufacture.

If necessary, manage sub-contractor products which may require some foreign travel, to hold design, manufacture, inspection or delivery reviews.

Identify, evaluate and propose solutions for quality problems or issues including improvement initiatives.

Support product risk analysis and risk management process throughout product lifecycles.
