Reporting to a Senior Contracts Manager the role of the Contracts Manager is to provide effective Contracts Management support to ensure that: · Responses to Customer RFQ's (Quotes and Proposals) are drafted and submitted in accordance with RC Policies · Contracts and associate sub-contracts are drafted and negotiated in accordance with RC Policies · UK, US and other Export Compliance regulations are complied with · An effective and responsive service is provided to internal and external customers RCUK is seen as a reliable trusted and valuable system and service provider Key Accountabilities Identify the 3 - 6 Key Accountabilities of the role. These should encompass the most important measurements that will define success or failure in the role. Drafting and negotiation of Proprietary Information Exchange Agreements Ensure · Compliance with RC policies and business ethics Sales and other Functional Teams are aware of limitations of data transfer under PIEA Contract/Order Management · Analyse the customer's RFQ to ensure that the customer's requirements can be met through 'catalogue' Rockwell Collins products and services (Low risk bids) and prepare proposals/quotations and execute resulting contracts · With minimum supervision/guidance of the Senior Contracts Manager Analyse customer's RFQ, prepare medium and selected high risk proposals/quotations and execute resulting contracts · Negotiate, review and accept firm customer orders resulting from low, medium risk and, under limited supervision, selected high risk proposals · Draft and negotiate Sub-Contracts arising from Customer Contracts · Create Contract Summary Document to facilitate accurate order entry into SAP · Work with Programmes Manager and Contract Support Administrator (s) to ensure schedules are accurate and reflect the order commitments in SAP.
