Job Objective - The Site Supervisor has responsibility for all TKC sponsored activities on the Site in the absence of the TKC Site Manager. The Site Supervisor is answerable to the TKC Site Manager for the day-day management of TKC assets and work on-site. The Site Supervisor shall be the first line of contact with all TKC subcontractors on-site. Primary Tasks -Logging of all TKC personnel and subcontractors entering and leaving the Site and briefing all new personnel on relevant safety and security matters. Ensuring that the on-site team and any subcontractors have the necessary skills/qualifications/insurance appropriate to the task to be undertaken. Ensuring that all assembly tasks are carried out in such a manner as to avoid any structure from becoming a hazard due to instability. This may require obtaining weather forecast data so that additional measures can be taken in the event of adverse weather, i.e. lightning and high winds etc. Ensuring that the mains power distribution for portable electric tools is configured to minimise the risks of electric shock hazard. All electrical construction tools shall operate at no more than 115VAC, whenever practicable. Ensuring that working areas are suitably fenced / cordoned off and that appropriate safety signs are erected, and that all personnel within this area are equipped with the relevant protective clothing, i.e. hard hats, safety footwear, facemasks, goggles, RadHaz monitors etc. as necessary. Preventing personnel interfering with working antennas and loitering in RadHaz areas. Policing TEMPEST criteria during installation work by TKC employees and subcontractors.
