Essentials
* C Programming languages
* Use of integrated development environment - Visual Studio
* Knowledge of hardware interfacing
* Use of Windows 2000 operating systems
* Knowledge of hardware interfacing

Use of systems engineering tools such as DOORS, ClearCase and ClearQuest
* Java programming
* C++ development
* Experience in real time environments

The ideal candidate will have experience of the whole software development lifecycle for large, complex software systems and be able to develop a systems view of the project to aid fault-finding, analysis and resolution. Experience should cover requirements capture, high and low level design, code, low level test, integration and up to the final software verification and validation phases.
