Our client is the global leader in Mobile Roaming Solutions selling value added services. They are a young company that has continued to grow rapidly through organic growth and acquisition. Primarily they sell to mobile and telecommunication operators.
They have a strong presence in the US and Europe and are growing within Asia. Now they are looking to appoint their first employee in Australia. This role will have responsibility across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Pacific Islands.
Current clients include Telstra and Optus and you will engage with senior management from these and other companies. To be successful in this role you will have a strong background with proven contacts and relationships at senior levels of mobile operators throughout this region.
Apart from the selling function of this role you will also be responsible for coordinating technical resources to assist in the needs analysis and the preparation of detailed responses to RFPs and RFIs. You will determine marketing priorities for trade shows and seminars as well as specific related associations.
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of the Company's solution at client site. You should have at least 5 years experience of software application selling and the ability to coordinate teams in diverse locations. You will need expertise in mobile roaming services and the telecommunications market place.
Given the regional nature of the role there will be regular travel. You can be based in Sydney or Melbourne. Base salary is in the region of $130,000 with a significant commission structure in place for the successful candidate.
