To assist in the servicing and maintenance of information technology equipment/systems and help manage the I.T. help desk system for all departments and users of Beaconsfield Footwear Ltd Main Duties: 1. Hotter Stores Responsible for installation and support of all IT Infrastructure including EPOS systems within each Hotter retail outlet minimizing downtime. Act as the main point of contact for all stores related technical requests. 2. WAN Network Infrastructure Responsible for the Hotter WAN connections including Firewalls and Routers and liasing with suppliers 3. LAN Network Infrastructure Responsible for the correct working of the network switches, their monitoring and updating and ensuring that they failover correctly. Maintenance of networking cabinets and keeping in good order. 4. Intranet/Portal Management of the business wide intranet/portal, ensure that the portal is fully functional and act as the main point of contact for any development requests. Liaise with the IT Manager with development requests that do not relate to the modification of day to day forms etc. Ensure the daily portal database backup is run successfully and report any problems to the IT Manager. Ensure that IT documentation on the portal is kept up to date. -
