The school promotes a positive management of children's behaviour and different ways to interact and play with the children for a better home life. The school has one third of pupils who have specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities, which are related mainly to speech, language and communication difficulties or health needs.

The ideal candidate will be someone who holds a Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) and who is able to start immediately. This is a challenging but rewarding role, if you have the people skills to engage with a wide variety of children and adults.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:

* You must have good spoken English;

* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;

* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;

* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;

* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
