| My client is a large financial organisation and they're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work on part of their Banking Transformation Programme. The project is tasked with migrating credit card customers from an existing card servicing platform to a new system. The project is currently in solution design phase, with the analysts working to define & validate both technical and business solutions to the requirements. The changes involved within the project are as follows:- - Re-platforming from Equasion to VisionPLUS (both supplied by First Data) - Integration with existing systems; i.e. re-engineering of interfaces between existing systems and the VisionPLUS platform (both from and to). - Conversion of card related data held within CFS systems (current and historic) to integrate with the new platform where necessary. Your role as Business Analyst within this programme of work will involve: - Definition & ongoing ownership of business operational design for designated functional area - Ownership & resolution of outstanding business & technical solution gaps or issues. - Process & procedure writing for designated functional area - Solution walkthroughs with business, and sign off of procedures & operational impacts. - Ongoing management of requirements. - Liaison with business, technical & test teams to ensure appropriate resolution of issues - Requirements writing for change requests, analysis of impact assessment, and management of changes to appropriate project artifacts. The following skills / experiences are essential for this role: Proven track record of Business Analysis through full project lifecycle, evidence of production of all standard BA deliverables, e.g. Requirements, Use Cases, Process maps. Experience of business process mapping & design Experience of using Use Cases to structure analysis Experience of working on Payments industry projects Experience in working with third party supplier Good stakeholder management and information gathering skills The following skills are also desirable / preferable: Experience in Credit Card payments, and any or all of Fraud, Balance Transfers, Disputes & Chargebacks areas. Experience in platform migration projects VisionPLUS card platform knowledge
