Industrial Repair Technician - Essex

Description : Industrial Repair Technician (Fixed-term contract - up to 12 months) We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic individual who enjoys both working on their own and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calibration and repair of special purpose test equipment. The main duties of this role will be calibration of the advanced product portfolio, in addition to fault finding, hand soldering, PCB replacement, general product assembly & disassembly and product testing. Although specific technical product training will be provided, applicants must possess a minimum of ONC, or equivalent, in electronics. You must have good fault finding skills, hand soldering, PCB replacement, general product assembly & disassembly and product testing experience. Fine hand skills, the ability to work with small components and attention to detail are essential for this role. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate commitment during periods where high volumes of repairs are received, in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
