Medical Sterilisation & Decontamination Team Leader

Description : Medical Sterilisation & Decontamination Team Leader A vacancy has arisen within the Technical Services Division for a Team Leader – C & D Reprocessing The Service Management team work together to ensure the highest level of service is achieved at all times in order to meet our customers’ expectations. We are seeking an ambitious, motivated and highly committed individual to focus on the management of the central Reprocessing Suite. In addition to managing a team, duties include the registration, cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of medical & surgical equipment in accordance with current BSG & HTM guidelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for checks associated with the compliance of all associated department equipment against HTM2030 standards. Due to the specialist nature of this role, you must hold an NVQ 3, or equivalent, in equipment decontamination, and have experience of working within a similar environment. Excellent interpersonal and people management skills as well as a proven history of successfully leading a team are essential for this role. Hours of work: 6.00am to 4.00pm - Monday to Friday
