Our client is a technology developer and manufacturer of innovative and highly competitive utility scale wind turbines for the rapidly expanding global wind market. They now have an outstanding opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

This is the ideal role for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take their career to the next level in the most exciting and fastest growing industry in the world.

In this position you will be responsible leading the mechanical engineering team that's responsible for designing systems and components for new concept wind turbines at multi-MW ratings as well as supporting the deployed line.

To be considered for this position you must have:
- A BEng, BSc or BS (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant engineering experience gained within the aerospace, military, automotive or preferably, wind industry
- Proven mechanical system and component design experience
- Advanced SolidWorks skills

As a Mechanical Engineer you should also be a team worker with excellent communication skills and the ability to balance innovation and creativity with a commitment to quality. The ability to motivate and lead a team is also key.

Experience in a lead role would be beneficial to your application, as would a strong understanding of wind turbine technology and Wind Turbine IEC 61400 standards and certification.
