This multi-billion dollar investment will see coal seam gas (CSG) piped from world class fields to Gladstone where it will be converted to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Santos is embarking on a world first project to develop an LNG facility in Gladstone in partnership with PETRONAS, and this development will enable Santos to take coal seam gas to international gas markets. Reporting to the Team Leader Logistics Queensland your main focus is to develop the Materials Management & Logistics plan for the Operational Phase of the GLNG (Gladstone LNG Project) and assist sub-project teams in understanding the proposed logistics chains of the project EPC Contractors and impact on the final outcome. Furthermore you will be tasked with conducting analysis of the Supply Chain to identify systems options which will aid in the development of a Supply Chain Capability plan. You will also ensure that an integrated Logistics system is developed; taking into account the needs of the existing operation, project requirements and future business needs post project. Accountabilities Develop and implement a Supply Chain capability platform for existing and future Logistics providers. Consideration must be given to reverse Logistics needs post project. Ensure alignment of the GLNG Project teams, EQ Operations and the CSG Drilling & Completions Materials Management and Logistics requirements throughout all phases of the project Develop an understanding of the existing operational requirements and linkages into the GLNG Project to ensure post project operability is maintained.
