| Job Reference: VC21369T Leading multi-disciplinary consultancy are looking for an Experienced Ecologist to join their team in Lancashire. This is a challenging role which will suit a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with a genuine interest in ecology and it's growing importance within the consultancy sector. The role offers potential to work on a varied range of projects from regeneration and contaminated land, EIAs and highways to countryside management and public rights of way. Their portfolio of work is very varied covering a large stretch of the country, with projects from the Lake District to the midlands together with our local commitments around Lancashire. The role involves ecological input, ranging from carrying out initial extended Phase 1 habitat surveys to more detailed habitat (NVC) and protected species surveys. Advice on mitigation, compensation, restoration, enhancement, monitoring and management is also required. Being part of a multidisciplinary consultancy will enable integration of ecological considerations more effectively into the overall design process.
