My client has empowered us here at HCM to find a new business Development Manager to work out of their Melbourne office with the express role of managing a few accounts whilst pro - actively trying to bring in new customers. Job Description To increase sales revenue in the southern region through selling professional services, consulting, software and support to tier one prospects in the (MRD) Financial Services, Utilities and Telecommunications sectors. Skills and experience: The ideal candidate must have a minimum 5-10 years experience selling professional services, consulting and software solutions at the enterprise level The candidate should be able to demonstrate effective pipeline management - ability to prospect and mange multiple sales pursuits simultaneously. The candidate must be capable of working on long projects over 6-9 months whilst still working on smaller projects to assist revenue stream and you must be able to show instances of where you have done this previously. The candidate must have experience selling in a margin driven environment The candidate must have a strong knowledge of core Oracle applications and technology (Middleware, Business Application/E-business) The candidate must have strong domain knowledge of vendor environments and technology such as SAP, Peoplesoft, JDE, ERP and/or Database technology. The ideal candidate must have superb knowledge of and contacts within the Financial Services Sector at a local level, including Banks, Superannuation and Funds Managers etc. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Utilities and Telecommunications sectors The candidate must have a proven track record of sales achievement and I will need to have a full breakdown |
