| Supporting the Store Manager by aiding in the control of staff, stock and Company resources, in line with Company policy you are responsible for the overall running of the store in the absence of the Branch Manager PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Assisting the Manager in maximising Sales to achieve agreed increases in line with Company requirements you will take a part in creating a customer-focused store environment by ensuring the staff promote the Company in a positive way By being aware of competitor activity you will make commercial decisions to maximise sales Ensure the highest standards of Visual Merchandising are maintained at all times through the use of Company Visual Merchandising Guidelines Within the predetermined staffing levels set down by the Company, assist your line manager in organising and planning staff rotas to meet the needs of the Business Communicate promptly and fully with the Manager, Area Manager and Head Office as applicable Train and develop yourself and your team to their full potential through the effective use of the Induction and Training Programme, utilising delegation and coaching tools to encourage a motivated and successful team.
