A major supplier to the MOD requires an experienced Configuration Manager to provide functional management of personnel within the Configuration Management Team.

You will be expected to perform data management including the scheduling, coordination, production and delivery of all data items generated on the programs, including auditing for compliance with customer, security and program standards as well as performing document control and accountability functions.

Required Skills:-

* Previous experience working in a technical environment interfacing with systems, software, hardware or test engineering disciplines.

* Experience establishing, developing and implementing Configuration Management processes and training - Configuration control, identification, data library / repository, product release and delivery and configuration audits.

* Maintaining departmental budget:- Resource costs, Tools, Training, Licenses, Specific Hardware etc.

As well as the above skills you will have excellent communication skills and will be able to effectively interface and communicate with multiple levels of management as well as team mates in other engineering disciplines. CMII Certification would be desirable.

The salary for the position of Configuration Manager is 40 - 50K + excellent benefits.
