Position: Project Procurement Manager Location: South England Sector: Renewable energy Day rate: 350 - 400A leading UK energy developer and operator are seeking a Project Procurement Manager to join their expanding team and growing workload. The Project Procurement Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the full procurement lifecycle for a number of projects; from the delivery phase and through the construction phase. The Procurement Managers main duties will be to: * Establish, maintain and support a working relationship with both the project team and Supply Chain Management team * Approve the overall procurement strategy ensuring timely achievement * Ensure project compliance * Manage and review bids reflecting current market conditions * Manage evaluation of supply market * Negotiate and place orders * Manage the commercial and contractual support throughout the construction phase * Review processes and procedures Due to the nature of the role the Project Procurement Manager must have a previous track record in procurement with experience working on renewable energy wind projects.
